#peter and the starcatcher #broadway #christian borle #black stache #nyc #travel #theatre makes me stupid #so i never would have expected that the best things i've seen on broadway so far have been plays #but it's true. after one man two guvnors last night i saw peter tonight and oh god SO FUCKING GOOD #i'm glad the girl i met at book of mormon lotto followed me to peter lotto and WON so i could see this #this really was just one of the loveliest funniest zaniest most heartwarming heartbreaking things i've ever seen #this is basically what wicked is to the wizard of oz for peter pan and it was GLORIOUS #just the inventiveness of it all - thr production has a ramshackle zany charm that's both ludicrous and magical #this dude though. THIS DUDE. christian borle was amazingsauce and SO delightfully perfectly hammy. #such a batshit physical performance that's just so perfectly modulated so it's the right level of OTT #not really a featured actor performance but i'm glad he's in this category so he has a shot of winning. he deserves it! #i shouldn't be wanting to rewatch all the things!! oh god why am i going to dc again??
